- Account information: name, email address, date of birth, profile photo, and bio when you create an account (via Google, Apple, or QR code sign-in).
- Listing information: item titles, descriptions, photos, condition, location, tags, and delivery preferences.
- Swap and communication data: messages, swap proposals, reviews, and ratings you exchange with other users.
- Payment information: when you purchase Tradsup Coins, payment is processed by third-party providers (Apple on iOS, Google on Android, and Stripe on the web). We do not store your full payment card details. Stripe may store a tokenized representation of your payment method on our behalf.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: device type, operating system, browser type, and unique device identifiers.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, items viewed, search queries, and interaction patterns.
- Location data: approximate location based on IP address. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly provide a city or country for your listings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Platform.
- Facilitate swaps, messaging, and reviews between users.
- Personalize your experience (search results, recommendations).
- Process coin purchases and manage your account balance.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
- Send service-related notifications (swap updates, messages).
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With other users: your public profile, listings, reviews, and swap history are visible to other Tradsup users. Messages are only visible to conversation participants.
- Service providers: we use third-party services for hosting, image storage, payment processing, and analytics. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services and are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety: we may share information to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tradsup, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud prevention purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.

The Tradsup web app uses localStorage to store your authentication session, search history, and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising trackers. Analytics data is collected in aggregate form without personally identifying individual users.
8. Children's Privacy
Tradsup is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete that information promptly. 9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including standard contractual clauses where required.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of Tradsup after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
