Find something you want & propose
Browse by category, search by keyword, or scroll the feed. When you find an item you like, propose a swap by selecting one of your own listings to offer.

- You pick which of your items to offer
- The item owner gets notified instantly
- You can have multiple proposals out at once
Chat & negotiate
The item owner reviews your proposal. They can accept, decline, or start a conversation to discuss. All chat happens inside Tradsup.
- The owner messages first to start the conversation
- Discuss meetup location, shipping, or item condition
- If a swap goes silent for 3+ days, either side can cancel
Complete the swap
Exchange your items in person or by shipping. Both sides confirm the swap is done, then leave a review.

- Swapped items are automatically removed from your listings
Tradsup Coins
The currency that keeps swapping fair
Coins are a lightweight system to ensure every swap is genuine. They prevent spam, ghost proposals, and people who accept swaps but never follow through.
Proposer
The person who sends the offer
1 coin locked when you send a proposal
If the owner accepts, your locked coin is consumed
If declined, withdrawn, or inactive 3+ days — your coin is refunded
Acceptor
The item owner who accepts the offer
1 coin spent when you accept a proposal
Your coin is consumed immediately — shows you're committed
If proposer goes inactive 3+ days, you can cancel and coin is refunded
Each completed swap costs 1 coin per person — the proposer and the acceptor each spend 1 coin.

Frequently asked questions
Is Tradsup free to use?
Listing items and browsing are free. Proposing a swap costs 1 coin (refunded if declined), and accepting costs 1 coin. You get 5 free coins when you sign up.
Why do I need coins to accept a swap?
Coins keep the marketplace healthy. Without any cost, people could spam proposals or accept swaps they never intend to follow through on. The small coin cost ensures both sides are serious about completing the swap.
Do I need the mobile app?
You need the mobile app (iOS or Android) to create an account and list items with photos from your phone. Once you have an account, you can browse, swap, and chat on both mobile and web.
How do I meet the other person?
That's up to you and the other party. Most people meet in a public place like a coffee shop or mall. You can also arrange shipping if you're not in the same area — discuss it in the chat.
What if someone doesn't show up?
If a swap goes inactive for more than 3 days with no messages, the active party can cancel it. The person who cancels gets their coin refunded — the inactive party does not.
Can I swap multiple items at once?
Each swap proposal lets you offer one or more items for the items you want. You can have multiple active swaps running at the same time with different people.
What if the item isn't as described?
Report the user immediately through the app. Our team investigates every report. Leave an honest review after the swap so others know too.
Can I get my coins back if a swap falls through?
Your coin is refunded in these cases: the owner declines your proposal, you withdraw your proposal, or the other party goes inactive for 3+ days and you cancel. If both parties mutually agree to cancel an accepted swap, neither side is refunded.
